Artist: Spoon
This is the first song off of the new, very lo-fi Spoon album, Transference, that really caught my attention. Maybe it’s because Britt Daniel’s hearse reference reminds me of RATM, or maybe because it’s the closest thing to the mishmash piano/guitar sound prevalent on Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. Either way this is just preliminary, and as Transference thumps along it will undoubtedly continue to reveal additional gems.
